We use Google AdSense, Google Conversion Tracking and Google Remarketing on our websites.
Google Conversion Tracking is an analytics service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google") designed to measure the success of our Google (AdWords) enabled advertising campaigns. In this context, Google sets a cookie on your computer when you access a Google ad and land on our page. These cookies expire after 30 days and do not allow personal identification.
With Google Conversion Tracking, we and Google can identify that someone has clicked on our ad and has been redirected to our page. However, we can't see what other web pages you have opened. The data collected with Google Conversion Tracking is only used to compile statistics on the success and usage of our AdWords campaigns. We do not collect or receive any information from which the user can be identified.
In addition, we use Google AdSense, a Google ad serving service, on our pages to serve ads (text ads, banners). Thus, your browser sometimes stores a cookie sent by Google or third parties. The information stored in the cookie may be recorded, collected and evaluated by Google or third parties. In addition, Google Adsense uses small, transparent graphical images, so-called web beacons, for the collection of information, through the use of which simple actions and visitor traffic on the website can be recorded, collected and evaluated. The information obtained with the cookie and/or images about the use of this page is transferred to a Google server and stored there. Google uses the information thus obtained to carry out an evaluation of your usage behaviour in relation to AdSense ads. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if this is required by law or if this data is processed by third parties on behalf of Google. Your IP address is not associated with any other data stored by Google.
We also use remarketing technologies provided by Google on our pages. Through these technologies, users who have already visited our web pages can be re-targeted with targeted advertising on other pages of Google's partner network. Google's remarketing technologies also use cookies.
If you do not wish to receive interest-based advertising, you can disable Google's use of cookies for these purposes by going to this page and making the settings that suit you for the purpose of personalising ads across the web.
If you do not wish to participate in Google AdSense, Google Conversion Tracking or Google Remarketing, you can also refuse the necessary setting of a cookie for this purpose - by setting your web browser to generally disable the automatic setting of cookies. You can also disable cookies for Google advertising services by setting your web browser to block cookies for the domain "googleadservices.com". Further information and information on disabling Google advertising services for mobile devices can be found here.
In addition, we also use Facebook Conversion Pixel and Facebook Remarketing on our pages. With Facebook Conversion Pixels, we and Google can identify that someone has clicked on our Facebook ad and has been redirected to our page. However, we cannot see what other web pages they have visited. The data collected with Facebook Conversion Pixels is only used to compile statistics on the success and usage of our Facebook advertising campaigns. We do not collect or receive any information from which the user can be identified. Through Facebook Remarketing technology, users who have visited our web pages can be re-targeted with targeted advertising on Facebook. However, we do not collect or receive any information about the Facebook users to whom the targeted advertising is directed. In this case we are also unable to identify individual users. For detailed information on the purposes and extent of Facebook's collection and processing of personal data and for settings to protect your privacy on Facebook, please see Facebook's privacy policy by visiting this page.
