Carmistin has launched an extensive food donation campaign, which will run annually in August

Carmistin is running a large food donation campaign starting this year in August as part of the organization's efforts to get involved in initiatives to support local communities. The actions are being carried out nationwide and consist of donations of food packages from its own portfolio, brand La Province, to hospitals, social centres, old people's homes, as well as to needy families, with donations of BIO eggs marking the first stage of the campaign.  

Thus, 45,000 BIO La Provincia eggs were distributed, in conditions of maximum food safety and hygiene, in the villages of Scoarța, Turburea, Săcelu, Alimpești, Prigoria, Polovragi and Țănțăreni, Gorj county.

Another 10,000 BIO La Provincia eggs were donated by Carmistin to several social canteens, day and residential centres in the capital, such as the St. Anne, St. Mary and St. Philophthea Canteens, the Old People's Home at the Bird Monastery and the one belonging to the Precupeții Vechi Parish, as well as to the Children's Day Care Centre "St. Mk. Sofia". More than 2,000 BIO eggs have also arrived in Bacau County., through Patmos Onești Association."By initiating the food donation campaign, we want to contribute to the cultivation of the common good in society, in an example of solidarity with the local communities in which we operate and beyond. Our campaign continues throughout the month of August and is specifically aimed at institutions and centres that care for children, but also adults and the elderly who need our support." said Andra Paraschiv, Carmistin Group representative.

The company also joined the government initiative "Give Romanian", donating more than 10,500 BIO eggs in hospitals in Teleorman county, as well as in several social and elderly centres in Talpa and Saelele. This action is part of a wide-ranging programme to support the agri-food sector in our country, with the aim of re-establishing a stronger link between the Romanian food producer and consumer, by promoting healthy, high-quality food.
