The Carmistin Foundation has donated 10,000 organic laying hens as part of an annual community campaign

The Carmistin Foundation has continued the initiative launched last summer to run one-off donation campaigns as part of the Carmistin Group's efforts to engage in initiatives to support the local communities in which it operates through its business divisions.

This summer's campaign materialized in the donation of 10,000 organic laying hens, of which 5,000 to the Foundation Hearts of Gorjeni and another 5,000 to the villagers of Leleasca, Olt County.

Once they reach maturity, the donated birds, in compliance with all the sanitary-veterinary standards required by law, will be able to produce about 70% of large caliber eggs over a period of two to four years, under good care conditions. The beneficiary families will thus be able to enjoy the production of large L and XL eggs in their own households for a long time to come.

Mrs. Maria Badea: I would like to thank you very much for this gesture of giving us chickens. Being a single grandmother, I am now very happy for the grandchildren when they come and see the chickens in the yard.

The series of donation campaigns was started by the Carmistin Group in 2023, when food parcels from the Carmistin Group's portfolio were offered to communities in Olt County La Provincia, Carmistin brand, to hospitals, social centers, old people's homes, as well as to needy families. Thus, almost 60,000 BIO eggs The Province were distributed, at the first edition, in conditions of maximum safety and food hygiene, in the villages of Scoarța, Turburea, Săcelu, Alimpești, Prigoria, Polovragi and Țănțăreni.

The donations we initiate each year reflect our care and commitment to our communities and their needs, and we are pleased that this time we were able to revalorize with the beneficiaries of the campaign a food resource that is not only necessary but also very healthy, said Andra Paraschiv, President of the Carmistin Foundation.
